This story doesn't start
with software.

We didn’t come from software. We came from decades of running a real business — inside one of the most compensation-intensive industries there is — closing the books every month and reconciling commissions by hand.

Our Management Team
We founded SalesScoreKeeper to build the solution we'd spent years wishing we had.
Created by the people who lived without it.
01 / Where it began

We lived the
problem firsthand

For over 20+ years, we were an office technology solutions provider. Every month meant the same thing — the close, the manual calculations, the payout questions, the hours spent reconciling commissions everyone depended on.

We weren’t studying the problem from the outside. We were living it, cycle after cycle.

And once you’ve lived it that long, you can’t unsee it.

02 / The breaking point
There's a point where the question changes
Every new comp plan meant more formulas. Every exception, another tab. Every new rep, another chance for the numbers to be wrong. Month after month, year after year — the same fragile process,
and the growing certainty that there had to be a better way.
What we kept asking
How do we make the spreadsheets better?
What we finally asked
Why are we still doing this at all?
03 / The turning point

So we built the software we wish we'd had.

Instead of continuing to patch a fragile manual process, we set out to solve it for good — this time not from a spreadsheet, but from the ground up.

SalesScoreKeeper wasn’t created because we wanted to start a software company. It was created because we wanted to eliminate the work we had done every month for years — and give the people still living it the solution we never had.

Instead of forcing businesses to adapt to software, we built software around how commission plans actually work. That philosophy still guides every product we build today.

Behind

Living complex commissions.

We were an office technology solutions provider — one of the most compensation-intensive industries out there — reconciling commissions by hand, every cycle.

2011
Turning Point

SalesScoreKeeper is founded.

We stopped patching a broken manual process and built the automation we wished we’d had — designed by the people who had lived without it.

2015
Scale

The hardest plans became the proving ground.

Across compensation models, team structures, and industries, we refined a methodology built for the edge cases generic software struggles to handle.

2023
Expansion

Commission automation, wherever your sales data lives.

We extended the platform to meet organizations where they work — bringing commission automation into Salesforce natively, and integrating with the tools teams already run.

2026
Today

One trusted source for compensation.

Whatever your plan looks like, wherever your data lives — commission automation you can trust, backed by decades of operating experience.

Experience shapes everything we build.

Most software companies begin with developers. SalesScoreKeeper began with operators.

That experience influences every feature we release — because we’ve already lived the problems our customers are trying to solve.

What we believe

Five ideas that shape every decision we make — from how we build ScoreKeeper to how we support the sales teams that rely on it.

Technology should remove work

not create it.

Automation should build trust

not questions.

Reporting should explain the numbers

not defend them.

Compensation should motivate people

not confuse them

Software should adapt to your business

not create it.
